Festivals

Colwyn Bay is home to a variety of great festivals and events throughout the year. From big name pop stars wowing the crowds at Eirias Stadium and fun in the sun down on the front at Prom Xtra, through to the quirky Uke-a-Bay Ukulele event and the annual 1940’s festival, there’s something for everyone during the festival season.

The Colwyn Bay 1940’s festival is a firm favourite in the town every April. As well as battle skirmishes in the town and at the park, a life sized model spitfire, military vehicles, live 40’s music including ‘George Formby’ aka Paul Casper, dance displays, 40’s ephemera, food and fashion, there is also WWII look-alikes, military vehicles and a 1940’s dance on the Saturday evening. Why not dress up forties style and come along?
