Playing Out

29th July 2016

Categories: News

There's a chance for children to take part in 'Playing Out' summer holiday play provision throughout Conwy County again this summer.

The 'Playing Out' sessions will take place from 27 July to 30 August in parks and other locations. The sessions are run by trained playworkers and offer lots of different play opportunities including den building, arts and crafts, sports and much more. They are aimed at children aged 5 to 14 and each session lasts for 2 hours.

Playing out provision is running through a partnership of CVSC, Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids Clubs and Conwy County Borough Council with funding from Welsh Government, Communities First, Town and Community Councils.

Millie Boswell, Principal Play officer said, "The sessions are all about children playing freely and choosing what they want to do so playworkers are there to support rather than to lead. It's a chance for children to play, have fun, get wet, messy and muddy and make friends."

For more information about when are where the sessions take place visit: email or call 01492 523857 If attendees have any special requirements, contact

Parents/Guardians are required to complete a registration form prior to their child's first session.
