Lionel Richie will visit Colwyn Bay on Sunday 19 June 2016 at Eirias Stadium.

International superstar Lionel Richie will return to the UK in 2016 to perform open air concerts in parts of the UK he’s never visited before, including Eirias Stadium Colwyn Bay on 19th June.

The ‘All The Hits’ Tour will also visit St Austell, Swansea, Sheffield, Colchester and Gloucester. These new dates follow the recent announcement of arena shows in Manchester and London.

Performing All The Hits from his extensive and much-loved repertoire, spanning decades all the way from the Commodores to the present day. Lionel’s shows are world-renowned for their party atmosphere, and audiences will be able to join Lionel in singing along to classics such as ‘Hello’, ‘Easy’, and ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’, ‘Say You Say Me’ and ‘All night Long’.

Lionel said:“I had such a great time in the UK this year and I can’t wait to visit new places and meet new people. Performing at Glastonbury for the first time was such a thrill for me and given me an appetite to do new things in the UK. I know these shows are going to be very special. It’ll be the first time I’ll have been to Colwyn Bay and I can’t wait.”

The UK fell back in love with Lionel last year following a tour that received glittering reviews and culminated in a phenomenal Glastonbury performance. After drawing the biggest crowd of the weekend with over 100,000 people flocking to the Pyramid Stage, Lionel’s album ‘The Definitive Collection’ reached Number One on the UK album charts for the first time in 23 years.

Lionel went on to receive British GQ’s Icon Award adding to a celebrated career which includes four GRAMMYs, a Golden Globe and even an Oscar. Having sold over 100 million albums worldwide and Lionel shows no signs of slowing down.
