Colwyn Bay’s regeneration programme in the spotlight as it heads to Liverpool’s International Festival of Business

Bay Life,  the Conwy County Borough Council led partnership behind the multi-million pound regeneration of Colwyn Bay,  is set to exhibit at Regen 2014.

The Regen 2014 exhibition will run from on the 25th and 26th June at the Rum Warehouse in Liverpool and is part of the International Festival of Business. It will address the latest issues in urban regeneration policy and implementation, highlighting the key successes made in major towns and cities, in areas such as city centre redevelopment and the tourist industry.

The exhibition will also examine the challenges that towns and cities face, in terms of economic development and neighbourhood renewal, and will bring delegates together with policy experts, real-life case studies and industry leaders.

More than 20 regeneration leaders and professionals will be speaking at Regen 2014.

Ingrid Lewis, from Bay Life, said: “We’re very excited to be exhibiting at Regen 2014. Not only is it a concentration of the country’s leading regeneration experts and thought leaders, it’s an excellent opportunity to share our vision for Colwyn Bay and celebrate the success we’ve already had.

“With all eyes on Liverpool during the International Festival of Business, we are best placed to raise the town’s profile among potential investors and tell our story on a wider stage.”

The Bay Life Partnership will be exhibiting at stand A8 in the Rum Warehouse.
